Dining room

So last Sunday- Rick decided  it was time to paint our dining area.  We had wallpapered one wall when we moved in...but it was time for a change.  So at first we thought we could just remove the wallpaper and then paint over it with the paint/primer combination....not so much!

This is what we started with...

After removing the layer of wallpaper- looks better already.  I was tired of that wallpaper.

Then we discovered that the primer/paint combination was a joke- the paint just scraped off....so we proceeded to remove the glue  with our fingernails.....fun times!  Rick went back to Walmart to get the separate primer and another can of paint.

New curtains and paint color picked out by hubby and whala!  Completely different feel to the dining area.

I love it!
